Dog Safety Disclaimer

Your dog’s safety is important to us.

All dogs should be supervised while enjoying treats or chews. Even natural or single-ingredient treats can present a choking risk depending on a dog’s chewing habits.

By purchasing and giving our products to your dog, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Dogs should always be supervised while consuming treats or chews

  • You should select treats appropriate for your dog’s size, age, and chewing style

  • Fresh water should always be available

  • Any treat or chew that becomes a small or sharp piece should be removed

  • Treats should be introduced gradually, especially for dogs with sensitive stomachs

If your dog has dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions, please consult your veterinarian before introducing new treats.

Project Good Dogs is not responsible for injuries, illness, or damages resulting from the misuse of our products or failure to supervise pets while consuming them.

Our products are intended for pet consumption only.

Treat Storage & Shelf Life Policy

Our treats are minimally processed and made in small batches, which helps preserve their natural nutrition and flavor. Because of this, proper storage is important to keep them fresh and safe.

Storage Recommendations

For best quality, we recommend:

  • Keeping treats sealed in their original packaging

  • Storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

  • Avoiding exposure to heat or moisture

If you live in a warm or humid climate, refrigeration can help extend freshness.

Shelf Life

While individual products may vary, general guidelines are:

  • Dehydrated treats and chews: typically best within 3–6 months

Always check the product for changes in smell, texture, or appearance before giving it to your dog.

Natural Variations

Because our treats are made from real, natural ingredients, color, size, and shape may vary slightly from batch to batch. This is completely normal and part of working with minimally processed foods.
